Product Review: Beau Bain Bath Accessories: The majority of the time I have to take showers, it’s pretty rare that I get time to sit and relax in the bath tub with no interruptions. Normally every time I try, I end up with two kids and my hubby knocking on the door. I was so excited by the look of these products that I attempted to take a relaxing bath while my kids were happily watching cartoons. Good idea right? Well…I had to leave the door unlocked to the bathroom because hubby wasn’t home and ya know…if there were an emergency with the kids or something. So…I run my warm water, throw in a Bath Bomb and some Bath Salts and the aroma was immediately soothing! My water so so soft and it made my skin feel wonderfully! Before long both kids had found me and before I could do anything, my son was pouring shampoo all over my legs and my daughter was reaching for my razor. Sighhhh. I have tried to sneak in the bath every day this week just to enjoy the Beau Bain bath accessories BUT I’ve smartened up and waited for hubby to get home so that I can lock myself in the bathroom!

Product Review: Beauty Silkz Pillowcases: I am convinced after using these pillowcases that I now need silk sheets to match! These pillowcases have natural proteins and essential amino acids that make your skin feel younger! My biggest issue when I wake up in the morning is always with my hair! When I wake up in the morning my hair is going all different directions! When I got the chance to review these pillowcases…I thought “Yeah Right”, these will really help with MY hair! To my surprise, my hair actually looks good when I wake up now. Also, the Silkz pillowcases are cool to your skin so you don’t sweat at night!  My next favorite part is that the pillowcases don’t slip all around. They are made with a non slip cotton/poly backing and it makes a world of difference when you are turning over in the middle of the night. Product Review: Soft Hugwear Valentine’s Day Collection. Here are some things that should be in everyone’s price range. Soft Hugwear is sold exclusively at Walmart and the products run from $3 to $25. I got one of the Hugwear Travel Blankets and Eye Mask ($15). OMGosh…so incredibly soft! When my kids were babies I always said I wish they made “grown up” blankets that were as soft as the baby blankets! Soft Hugwear IS as soft as a baby’s blanket! I was so excited when it arrived in the mail that I jokingly said to my husband “OK, I have to review my blanket and eye mask”, as I layed down on the couch. It was the middle of the day and I really didn’t plan on falling asleep; the next thing I knew my husband was lifting up my eye mask and asking me if I was OK. HaHa….it was 2 1/2 hours later! It is so comfortable. It’s actually a travel blanket and eye mask that come with a carrying case, but it makes a great anytime blanket too! I will be keeping it in my car though because we take a lot of road trips and hubby always freezes me out with the air conditioner.

Product Review: The Friendship Stone: I love the idea behind the friendship stone. I actually have been doing sort of the same thing my whole life but with pretty rocks. For me, it all started with a simple piece of petrified wood that had turned into stone. My father picked it up one day and gave to my mother…this took place before I was even born. When my father passed away my mom gave me the beautiful piece of petrified wood and told me the story of how he had given it to her and she had kept it all those years. I still have it and will pass it down to one of my children later in life. The friendship stone is made from Tigers Eye and is simply beautiful! This is a gift I can see myself buying for someone. Product Review: You might remember the Scandle Candle review from my last Holiday Gift Guide. Product Review: One thing that I can’t stand about the winter is dry skin! It’s funny because I don’t remember ever having dry skin before, but the past few winters I have noticed it most in my hands. Seed Body Lotion is so soothing on your hands and it really moisturizes my skin! Besides the body lotion, Seed also offers Body Bar Soap and a shampoo and conditioning bar! I love the Body Soap Bar, it is full of refined pomegranate, apricot and strawberry seeds. It smells great and the seeds in it make it great for gently exfoliating! My husband is in love with the Shampoo and Conditioning Bar. I don’t know why…but he has no problem washing his hair with just a bar of soap. I am always telling him he needs to use conditioner! The bar is perfect because it’s quick and it gets the job done. I washed my kids hair with it last night too. It was super easy to wash my sons hair…a little tougher on my daughters. It’s hard to wash long hair with a bar. I did notice how thick her hair felt afterward though. That part I loved because she has such fine hair.

Product Review: Fuzzy Picture Frame, Animal Print Hand Mirror: These are great gifts for any teen or tween! You might remember a product review I did a while back with this same company, Artistic Sensations. I reviewed a fuzzy lunchbox and my daughter is still using it! You can imagine the damage a 5 year old can do to a toy/product….the fuzzy lunchbox is still perfectly intact and has yet to shed it’s “fuzziness”.

I got the chance to work with Artistic Sensations again for my Valentine’s Day Gift Guide and I was thrilled. I am usually iffy about buying items like this because you just never know.
